Your Life Points Somewhere

A devotional for Wednesday
Acts 3:12
“Why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness?”
After the miracle, Peter immediately redirected attention back to Jesus. He understood something important: the point was never to glorify himself. Our lives naturally point people toward something. Sometimes we point people toward success, image, achievement, or ourselves. But followers of Jesus are called to reflect Him instead. This doesn’t mean we have to be perfect. It means the direction of our lives should reveal His goodness and grace. The way we treat people, respond to pressure, and carry ourselves can all become a witness. God gives us influence not so we can build our own platform, but so others can encounter Him through us.
Question/Challenge:
What direction does your life currently point people toward?
