A devotional for Monday
Acts 3:6
“Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you…”
Peter didn’t have wealth or status to offer the man at the temple gate. But he did have something valuable: the power and presence of Jesus working through him. Sometimes we focus so much on what we lack that we overlook what God has already placed in our hands. We may not feel experienced enough, talented enough, or prepared enough. But God often works through ordinary people who are willing to offer what they do have. Your story matters. Your kindness matters. Your gifts matter. Your faith matters. God is not waiting for you to become a “better version” of yourself before He can use you. He works through surrendered hearts right now. When we stop obsessing over what we don’t have, we begin to recognize how God can use what we already carry.
Question/Challenge:
What has God already placed in your hands that you may be underestimating?
