You Don't Need a Stage

A devotional for Wednesday

2 Timothy 2:2
"Entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others also."

One of the greatest misconceptions about ministry is that it belongs primarily to pastors, teachers, and church leaders. Scripture paints a different picture. God uses faithful people. Ordinary people. People with jobs, families, schedules, and responsibilities. You don't need a platform to influence someone. You don't need a microphone to encourage someone. You don't need a title to disciple someone. God often does His best work through simple acts of faithfulness. A text message. A meal. A conversation. A prayer. Consistency often matters more than impressiveness. The people around you don't need a perfect Christian. They need someone willing to love them well and point them toward Jesus.

Question/Challenge:
Who has God already placed in your life that you could intentionally encourage this week?
