The Classroom of Everyday Life

A devotional for Tuesday
Deuteronomy 6:7
"Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road..."
God's plan for discipleship wasn't centered around a building. It was centered around people. Parents teaching children. Friends encouraging friends. Neighbors caring for neighbors. Faith was meant to be woven into everyday life. Around meals. During car rides. While walking through ordinary routines. Sometimes we assume spiritual growth only happens during church services, Bible studies, or special events. Those things matter, but Deuteronomy reminds us that life itself is the classroom. Some of the most meaningful moments of discipleship happen in conversations we never planned. A question asked at dinner. A prayer offered during a difficult season. A story shared during a walk. God loves to work through ordinary moments. When we pay attention, we discover opportunities for discipleship all around us.
Question/Challenge:
What ordinary part of your daily routine could become a place for spiritual conversation?
