Saved…But Also Changed

A devotional for Monday
Acts 2:42
“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals…and to prayer.”
The early church didn’t just believe differently; they lived differently. After the Holy Spirit came, their priorities shifted. They devoted themselves to learning together, praying together, eating together, and caring for one another. Their faith moved beyond ideas and into action. Sometimes we reduce Christianity to believing the right things while continuing to live exactly the same way. But the Spirit doesn’t just save us from something; He transforms us into something. He reshapes our habits, our desires, and even the way we relate to other people. Transformation is often slow and imperfect, but it should still be happening. A Spirit-filled life cannot remain entirely self-focused. The closer we grow to Jesus, the more our lives begin to reflect His generosity, compassion, and love for others.
Question/Challenge:
Where is the Holy Spirit inviting you to grow beyond belief into actual transformation?
