Resurrection Power Still Works

A devotional for Thursday

Acts 9:40
“‘Get up, Tabitha.’ And she opened her eyes!”

The resurrection of Tabitha points beyond itself to the power of God. Her story reminds us that God is still in the business of bringing life where there was once hopelessness, brokenness, or despair. While not every situation unfolds the same way, resurrection power is still active today. God restores hearts, rebuilds relationships, renews purpose, and brings hope into places that feel dead or empty. Sometimes we assume certain parts of our lives are too damaged or too far gone. But resurrection changes the conversation. God specializes in redemption. He brings testimony out of pain and hope out of brokenness. The same Spirit at work in Acts is still at work today.

Question/Challenge:
What area of your life needs the hope of God’s resurrection power right now?
