Resurrection Power in Ordinary People

Romans 8:11
“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.”

Pentecost reveals something incredible: resurrection power now lives within God’s people through the Holy Spirit. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in ordinary people. That means your life matters. Your faithfulness matters. God works through imperfect people who are willing to be shaped and led by Him. Sometimes we assume powerful ministry belongs only to pastors, missionaries, or especially gifted people. But throughout Acts, God uses ordinary believers to carry His message into the world. The Spirit empowers everyday acts of obedience, compassion, courage, and faithfulness. Resurrection power isn’t only for mountaintop moments; it’s for ordinary Tuesdays, difficult conversations, acts of service, and quiet faithfulness.
