Nothing Poured Out in Love Is Lost

A devotional for Friday

1 Corinthians 15:58
“Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

Acts 9 reminds us that a life lived in love echoes far beyond what we can see. Tabitha’s compassion shaped a community, strengthened faith, and became part of the story God was telling through the early church. Sometimes we wonder whether our efforts matter. The meals made, prayers prayed, people served, and sacrifices offered can feel small or unnoticed. But God sees all of it. Love offered faithfully becomes part of His kingdom work. Every act of compassion matters more than we realize. The legacy of a faithful life is not measured only by accomplishments, but by the ways we reflected the love of Christ to others.

Question/Challenge:
What would change if you fully believed that nothing done in love for God is ever wasted?
