God Wants Them More Than You Do

A devotion for Monday
Romans 10:1
"The longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved."
Paul's words reveal something powerful: he deeply desired for people to know Jesus. His heart reflected God's heart. Sometimes we think we care a lot about someone's salvation, but the truth is that God always cares more. God loves your family members, neighbors, coworkers, and even the people you struggle to understand. His desire for redemption is greater than ours could ever be. That's encouraging because it means the burden doesn't rest entirely on us. God is already pursuing people long before we arrive. He is already stirring hearts, creating opportunities, and opening doors. We don't convince people to love God. We simply join the work God is already doing. The more we understand God's heart, the more our hearts begin to change. We start seeing people less as problems to solve and more as people deeply loved by God.
Question/Challenge:
Who is someone you need to begin praying for with God's heart instead of your own assumptions?
