God Uses Ordinary People

A devotional for Wednesday

1 Peter 4:10
"God has given each of you a gift... Use them well to serve one another."

It's easy to assume God works through extraordinary people. Yet throughout Scripture, He consistently chooses ordinary people who simply make themselves available. A conversation. A prayer. A kind word. A willingness to serve. God delights in using everyday people to accomplish eternal things. You don't have to have all the answers or a perfect faith. You simply have to be willing to say yes. Often, the greatest impact we make happens in moments that seem completely ordinary to us. God is able to multiply our small acts of obedience into something much greater than we could ever imagine.
