God Thinks Bigger Than We Do

A devotional for Tuesday
Acts 3:5–6
“The man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them…”
The man at the gate expected a small solution to a lifelong problem. He hoped for enough money to survive another day. But God wanted to do something deeper. Healing. Restoration. Transformation. Sometimes we pray small prayers because we’ve become used to surviving instead of believing for more. We ask God to help us get by while He wants to bring lasting change. This doesn’t mean life becomes easy or perfect, but it does mean God’s plans are often bigger than our expectations. He cares not only about temporary relief but about transformation that reaches into every part of our lives. God sees beyond the moment we’re stuck in. He sees purpose, healing, and possibility where we only see limitation.
Question/Challenge:
Have you been asking God only for survival when He may want to do something deeper in your life?
