A devotional for Thursday

2 Corinthians 5:20
"So we are Christ's ambassadors..."

Most of us spend time in the same handful of places every week. Work. School. A neighborhood. A coffee shop. A ball field. A gym. We often view these places as ordinary, but God may see them differently. What if He intentionally placed you there? What if the people you encounter aren't random? What if your presence is part of God's plan? Sometimes we spend so much time looking for a mission that we miss the one already in front of us. God frequently works through faithful presence. He uses ordinary people in ordinary places to accomplish extraordinary things. You may be exactly where someone needs you to be.
