God Joins Us in the Fire

A devotional for Tuesday
"Look! Nebuchadnezzar shouted. 'I see four men, unbound, walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god!'"
Daniel 3:25 (NLT)
One of the most beautiful truths in Scripture is that God doesn't always keep His people from hardship. Sometimes He meets them right in the middle of it. The furnace was still blazing. The fire was still real. Yet those three faithful men were no longer alone. God's presence transformed the place that was meant to destroy them into a place where they walked freely. Many of us spend our prayers asking God to remove the fire, and there's nothing wrong with praying for healing, provision, or rescue. But perhaps an even greater miracle is knowing that Christ is beside us no matter what we face. His presence gives us peace when life feels uncertain. His strength carries us when ours runs out. Whatever fire you're walking through today, remember that Jesus has never abandoned His people. He is with you, even now.
Question:
How have you experienced God's presence during one of the hardest seasons of your life?
