A devotional for Thursday
Acts 3:8
“He jumped to his feet and began to walk…”
For years, the man at the temple gate had been stuck in the same place. Then one encounter with Jesus changed everything. Healing moved him from sitting still into movement and new life. Sometimes fear, insecurity, disappointment, or comfort can keep us spiritually stuck. We stay in familiar patterns because moving forward feels uncertain. But God often invites us into growth that requires trust and action. Walking forward doesn’t mean having everything figured out. It means being willing to take the next faithful step. God meets us there. Growth begins when we stop believing we are permanently stuck where we are.
Question/Challenge:
What is one area of your life where God may be inviting you to take a faithful next step?
