Filled to Overflow

A devotional for Wednesday

Introduction

Gathering isn’t just about showing up. It’s about what God does when His people come together. On Pentecost, the Spirit filled everyone in the room, equipping them for what they could never do on their own. God still delights in filling His people today.

Scripture

“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:4

Reflection

When we gather, we don’t leave the same. God pours out His Spirit, not just for our own benefit but so we can bless others. The Spirit empowers us to speak, serve, and love in ways we couldn’t without Him. Being filled is never the end goal. It’s so we can overflow.
