Chosen Changes Everything
A devotional for Tuesday
Scripture: John 15:16 “You didn’t choose me. I chose you.”
Reflection:
Insecurity quietly shapes how we relate to others. When we don’t feel chosen, we compete. We grasp for control. We cling to people who are pulling away. Jesus speaks directly into that fear by reminding us that our identity is already secure. We don’t earn His love; we live from it. Being chosen frees us from striving for validation. It allows us to love generously instead of defensively. Secure people don’t manipulate relationships to feel safe. They give from abundance rather than fear. Knowing you are chosen reshapes every relationship you touch.
Question/Challenge:
How would your relationships change if you truly believed you are already chosen?
