Bringing the Impossible to God

A devotion for Friday
Ephesians 3:20
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…"
There are moments in life when problems feel impossible. We may face broken relationships, overwhelming circumstances, or situations that seem beyond repair. Over time, disappointment can slowly turn into resignation. We stop praying with expectation because we assume nothing will change. But the story of Jeremiah reminds us that God works beyond human limitations. While Jerusalem was surrounded and destruction seemed certain, God was already speaking about restoration. God’s power is not limited by our circumstances. He is able to work in ways that exceed our imagination. The invitation of faith is not to ignore our problems but to bring them honestly before God. When we surrender our impossible situations to Him, we acknowledge that His power is greater than our fears. Faith does not guarantee immediate answers. But it does place our hope in the One who can do what we cannot.
Write down one situation in your life that feels impossible. Spend time praying over it today and intentionally place it in God’s hands.
