Beautiful Feet

A devotional for Thursday

Romans 10:15
"How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!"

Most people don't think of feet as beautiful. Yet Paul uses this image to describe those who carry the Gospel. The beauty isn't in the feet themselves. The beauty is in what they bring. Every step taken toward someone with the love of Christ matters. Every conversation. Every invitation. Every act of kindness. Every moment of faithfulness. God uses ordinary people to carry extraordinary news. You don't have to be a pastor, teacher, or missionary to have beautiful feet. You simply need to be willing to go where God sends you. The people around you may never walk through the doors of a church until they first encounter Jesus through someone who loves them well. The Gospel often travels on ordinary feet.
