Removing the Enemy’s Chair
A devotional for Tuesday
Scripture:
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”
Psalm 23:5
Reflection:
Life is full of voices competing for attention: fear, doubt, bitterness, and self-criticism. They can pull up chairs at your table if you let them. But God calls us to let Him take the lead and remove those unwanted guests. The enemy may try to intimidate or distract us, but he cannot control what God has prepared. When we allow Christ to dismiss the unwelcome voices, we experience His goodness and peace. God wants our table filled with life-giving things, not lies or fear.
Challenge/Question:
What “chairs” at your table need to be removed today? How can you intentionally give God control over the guest list in your life?
