The Feast of Grace
A devotional for Thursday
Introduction:
We live in a culture that constantly whispers, “You’re not enough, but if you buy, try, or achieve just one more thing, maybe you will be.” But God flips that script completely. His feast isn’t for the qualified; it’s for the hungry.
Scripture:
“Why spend money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good.”
Isaiah 55:2 (NLT)
Reflection:
The only price of admission to God’s table is your emptiness. Grace doesn’t ask you to perform. It invites you to come, as you are, and be filled. It’s not a potluck; you don’t bring the meal. You just bring your hunger.
Question/Challenge:
When was the last time you sat with God without performing – just receiving? Choose one meal this week to eat slowly, prayerfully, thanking Him for the grace that fills what nothing else can.
