Sent on Purpose
A devotional for Monday
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”
Acts 1:8
Introduction:
God doesn’t gather us just to keep us safe. He gathers us to send us. Every time we worship, learn, and grow together, He fills us for a reason: to go out and carry His love where it’s most needed. Sometimes that looks like serving a neighbor, sometimes like speaking hope at work, sometimes just showing up with kindness.
Reflection:
When Jesus sends us, it’s never random. He knows where your presence is needed and how your story will reach someone else’s heart. The same power that filled the disciples is alive in you today.
Challenge:
Ask God, “Where are You sending me this week?” Then take one small, intentional step to go there with love.
